I know. In vanillia, they weren't locked in a bloody never-ending war. It was a territorial dispute over the Sigmas and some parts of Bretonia. I swear the Alpha/Theta hole was left in by accident, as a way for Digital Anvil devs to get around quickly during beta-testing.
