I'd agree with that. It does sound very interesting. It should help remove the niche aspect of both groups as well - it'll double the number of routes the group could do, seeing as they'd be able to pick both Synth or Planetform routes.

One of the factors that has killed all the previous versions of these groups has been the limited number of profitable routes.

In any case, if this is how you want to go, don't start merged. Make two sub-groups led by different people, then merge them with forum RP.

EDIT: I'm not going to vote for the time being. I'm in favour of the merge idea, so that isn't really represented. Furthermore, I'd be happy to see you leading it... But only if you weren't leading IC. These sorts of groups need a leader who has a 100% dedication to making them work.

One of the other reasons the other groups have died is the fact that their leaders have gone inactive and stopped motivating people. Getting this running would be seriously time intensive, and you wouldn't be able to do justice to IC and this. You'd have to pick one or the other, or end up with a half-hearted effort on both.

EDIT2: If you want any help with a write-up and other forumwork, give me a call. I'm too focused on Bowex to really give much of a hand with the in-game side of things, but every little helps I guess. I'd like to see an active Planetform faction, just to complete the Bretonian quartet.
