I agree 100%...

The battleships, as they are now, are severely underpowered. Weapon-, shield-, and hull-strength all needs to go up.

However, it needs to be done carefully. I remember back when all players had a battleship. That was no fun. The battleships need to be balanced so that they have their own distinct advantages and disadvantages compared to fighters.

How about this?

Gun/Turret Mounts: 0/12 14 (4 6 primary lvl 10 mounts, rest lvl 9 and 8 secondary and tertiary mounts)
Armour: 600.000 800.000
Cargo Space: 500 - 600
Max Batteries/NanoBots: 1.500 2.000
Power Output: 10.000.000 15.000.000
Max. Impulse Speed: 80
Equipment Mounts: CM / CD / T / M
Shield-strength: 400.000 500.000 with around 500 regen.

This should put the battleship back at the top of the food-chain where it belongs.

But, and this is a big but, it needs some drawbacks to compensate for the increased power.
When looking at real battleships, the thing that strikes me about its primary turrets is that: 1) they are bloody big, and 2) they are not designed to engage anything smaller that a cruiser. Id suggest that the tracking time for the big primary turrets should be set to around 1/2 minute from right to left. This means that the ship has the big guns to engage other ships of its class, but is forced to rely on the secondary and tertiary turrets when fighting smaller ships. Just as it should be
