I've became a trader. From my savings I could afford a new transport ship, well it was a gunboat class, I wanted to be safe, and I was supplying different stations and planets. My routes were calculated and together with Courtney we were able to rest while the other handles the ship. For months, we were doing the same job, same routes, same people, met different societies but after a while nothing special happened to us. We had time to think about our past, to think about our life and how did we end up being zoner traders. Well, I cannot complain because we have collected quite a fortune and placed it on Canaria, at the local bank. The interest was quite high so it was a good opportunity to deposit.

Since there was nothing special trading and transporting we have decided to take different and more dangerous routes. So we were traders and adventurers at the same time. Our life was a better but nothing lasts for an eternity, neither this feeling. The strange system, the harsh void became a friendly and well know place. I've had the chance to meditate, and I was lucky enough to meet a servant of Eris. He explained his whole "religion" and told me that I'm welcomed at their temples anytime. Well there was Courtney for me so I didn't need any religion or religious cult. I was pleased with my life even if it wasn't so risky and full of adrenaline.

We were transporting general goods for a station in the border worlds. We have entered the system... I was sleeping, Courtney was pilot. She set course to the other jump hole and went to make a coffee for herself. I was sleeping when a sudden hit shaken our ship. I remember I've felt of my bed. I didn't know what happened.

-Whats happening here Courtney? Asteroid?
-I don't know. I haven't seen anything out there.
-Bloody hell, something is going wrong! Any contact on sensor then?
-We have some strange readings Reynard.
-Let me see it!

This was our first contact with the Nomads. They've raid our ship and we were outnumbered. We have sent a emergency message on every frequencies, and a few vessels came to the system to help us. Two fighter was ready at the hangar, we ran there, the ship received several hits and due to internal damages we received several injuries. We made it to the hangar, and left our ship. The aliens were giving us a hard time but we have managed to get to the jump hole and left the system. Gladly, they didn't come after us. We have joined a zoner supply convoy. We docked on the of them. The personnel took us to the sick bay. I've almost died but the doctors could keep me alive. Courtney wasn't that lucky. Her injuries were a lot worse so she died in the hands of the doctors. I was completely destroyed. After I was healed, I was thinking a lot about my friend, about my sweet Courtney. I wished I would died too, in the raid and I wouldn't need to go trough all this.

A few days after the raid, I was sitting in my garden on Canaria. I was thinking about what that zoner said to me about Eris. I've contacted one of them from the list what the zoner gave me last time. He arranged another meeting and I was able to learn about Eris, about discordianism. I've understand a lot of things, I was able to see the connections between chaos and order, and between many other things. After months spent at the temple I was ready to gave my life to Eris. I was ready...
They've accepted me and I was as happy as never was before. I was grateful. I have took my money from the canarian bank. I've bought a Juggernaut in order to provide a shelter for the ones who are seeking Eris.

From history records I've learned that there was a man called Leonardo da Vinci, back on Earth, who was an inventor and a genius person. So I've decided to name my ship after him. The ISS tag came from the International Space Station which was the first station of its kind, developed by humanity in the very beginning of space era.
