A kind reminder

Part 3

I woke up again, this time I was sitting in Nick'€™s ship, on the co-pilots seat. He helped me up and brought
me to my Roc. Since we had arrived on Rochester. I was happy to see it. The old thing had never given up
on me, ever. As Nick helped me on in the Roc I went straight to bed. Exhausted by the simple effort of just
moving a bit. Soon I fell asleep again.

I was back in the same office, though the office chair was empty. There were still blood marks on and some
on the desk. Confused as I was by the disappearance of the man, I walked back to the hallway. Following
the signs on the wall that said '€˜hangars'€™. After some walking I ended up in the hangar. But where were the
ships'€¦

I felt like I lost something, but couldn'€™t really figure out what. I was simply standing there in the middle of
the hallway, it was completely deserted. Where was my ship? I'€™m sure I had one here. Who took it?
Thinking of ways to find out who took my ship, I figured I would go to security, they would probably have
some camera recordings.

Moments later I was standing in the security room. A wall was filled with screens showing camera images.
Where was the security personnel, I wondered. Where was everybody? I didn'€™t see anyone yet. I stood
there wondering for a while, but couldn'€™t really find a reason why there was no one around. I shook my
head, decided not to search for a answer on that question.

I took place behind one of the computers in the security room. Searching for the camera recordings that
would show my ship. I scrolled over the images lazily. After some searching I found the right camera and
time. There my Roc, it was simply standing where it always stood. Nicely parked in the corner. Speeding
up the recordings to see who took it.

Found it, I slowed down the time as I spotted a person on the recordings. A young women. She seemed to
be in a rush. She walked around my Roc a few times, seeming to inspect it. She looked around the hanger,
no other people were to be seen on the recordings, except for this women. I managed to pause the image
as she looked right into the camera. Zooming into her, her clothes seemed to be'€¦ covered in blood? Her
eyes clearly told me she was desperate and perhaps scared too at the same time. I felt worried as I looked
at her, she that looked exactly like me'€¦

I speeded the recording up again, it showed that it took her a while to be able to get the Roc opened.
She succeeded into opening it though. Shortly after the Roc engines fired up and it took off, into space.
