The torp immunity makes the sunslayer obselete.

Also the Sidewinder is a bit too good like the nova. It does 8000 hull damage and can turn faster than a level 9 LF or even a firestalker missile. I've been in a fight were the guy couldn't even see me and yet was firing torp after trop into me. The sidewinder needs to be somewhere in-between a cannonball and a firestalker in terms of turn rate. It is a torpedo, it should turn like one. And unless you are a LF there is almost no ways of dodging it. Either reduce the turn rate or have a VERY large gap in between shots. Like have a 0.25 refire rate.

What torpedo immunity?

The only Bs I've found with a torpedo immunity is the Nomad BS, which is also immune to missiles.

The sidewinder does 3,600+ hull damage not 8,000. For comparison the starkiller does 2,424 and the sunslayer does 4,800+ (i think, haven't looked at it for a while).

It's description says that the sidewinder is a blend of missile and torpedo technology, that's why it turns so well. Plus with it's current refire you can empty all your ammo fairly quickly just by holding down the torpedo key. If your opponent is relying on torpedos just dodge them and wait till he's run out of them.

Please don't remove the sidewinder torpedo, it's the prefect anti-fighter weapon for use in PvP, the starkiller and sunslayer are too slow to use with out some really good timing.

If the nova's damage is reduced and/or the torpedo ammo itself made more expensive more people will use the sidewinder, it's short range means it's very well suited to PvP.
