What torpedo immunity?

The only Bs I've found with a torpedo immunity is the Nomad BS, which is also immune to missiles.

The sidewinder does 3,600+ hull damage not 8,000. For comparison the starkiller does 2,424 and the sunslayer does 4,800+ (i think, haven't looked at it for a while).

You have been checking using a Nova. No BSs are immune to Nova due to the radius of the blast. If you try with a sunslayer it doesn't do a thing to the Nomad and Kusari BS and will only work in certain spots on the RH BS.

And no torp should have the damage capabilities of a torp and a better turn rate than the fastest missile. I agree with Igiss the torp was a mistake to put in.

Also if you plan to use a torpedo in battle it should take good timing to accomplish it. Thats why there are torps and missiles. If it was meant to be easy to use a torp in a dogfight they wouldn't have made missiles. Sidewinder is very simply a noob weapon. It is best used by a noob or at least someone bad at dogfighting. I fought Lance (please don't tell them the name of the char I was using btw Lance) with a VHF vs. VHF battle. He rarely even used guns. All he had to do was continually hit the trop button if he even got me in the corner of his sight. In a even battle (have the same ship class) where one has a sidewinder and the other doesn't you cannot win against the guy with the sidewinder unless you are in a LF.
