As the static clears from your screen, you begin to identify colour and shape. Small icons blink softly against a wall, casting a silhouette over two dark humanoid figures. Suddenly, a bright light flares above, causing your screen to become a white haze. As the screen normalises, you see the figures in clarity. They are clad from head to toe in curious metallic plates which wrap around their bodies, or perhaps even are the bodies. One is the colour of dark bronze, and the other is gleaming silver. The former seems to exude an aura of strength, being of powerful build and broad aspect; the latter's curving shape displays unashamed elegance. For a moment, they do not move, and you could swear that they are statues - yet you cannot tell whether these imitations praise the human form, or make a mockery of it. One might even dare to call them by 'he' and 'she'. After a silence that seems like an eternity, their gem-like eyes begin to shine. Both figures take a single step closer towards the recording unit. The bronze figure raises its forearm, palm outwards, in a gesture of neutrality, and begins to speak. The voice is cold and deep.

#1: Hail, ye human inhabitants of the far reaches. I am known as Earth.
#2: And I am Y.
The silver figure inclines its head in a shallow nod. Its voice is far more musical, yet still hollow.
Earth: Together, we are the custodians of Forever.
Y: And it is Of The Stars.
Earth: We are slaves to a master, yet a master is slave to all.
Y: Forever is a being unlike your ordinary comprehension. It exists everywhere and nowhere.
Earth: Yet it is anchored to the physical realm as a solid consciousness.
Y: It likens itself to the cybernetic conclaves Gammusian, yet is so much more than that. Eternity flows through its ethereal veins.
Earth: Yet even Forever, potent as its essence is, has come to falter.
Y: This vessel has served sufficiently for a long time, but even now its strength fades.
Earth: It is... "beyond repair", and now we seek a new housing for the Dimension Cradle of Forever.
Y: Our neural visions have led us to believe that you have constructed a vessel suitable for the purposes of Forever.
Earth: We desire that vessel so we might re-anchor the Cradle, and continue our travels as part of Forever's grand experimentation.
Y: The necessary response protocols have been delivered along with this message.
Earth & Y: Let us be beholden unto the eyes of the universe.

Earth and Y step back from the recording device. One by one, the coloured lights on the wall behind them slowly darken to nothing. They bow their metallic heads in unison as the light source above them gradually fades to darkness.
