[font=Agency FB] The Royal Navy is a branch of her Majesty's armed forces. It is the largest and most expensive fighting force that the Bretonian citizens have at their disposal. The Royal Navy has had a very long history, being traced back to the start of water warfare. The motto of "If you wish for peace, prepare for war" has really presented what the Royal Navy is all about. It ends up being the first line of defense in the survival of space-bound civilians, structures and equipment as well as the shield of all planets. In times of house-wide war the Royal Navy puts hundreds of thousands of lives on the line for queen and country. When it is inter-planet transport the RAF uses large planes to move the troops and tanks but when you need to send hundreds of thousands of equipped soldiers and entire regiments of battle tanks or fighter aircraft to another planet or system then the Royal Navy gets given responsibility.

The Royal Navy also commands eleven fleets that do battle with the enemy be it Kusarians, pirates, terrorists or anything space borne that is a threat to the public or other forces. It truely is the shield and sword of her majesty. If the navy gets their butts kicked in space then it is down to the army and air force to be the last stand.

Whale Island, Portsmouth Base

Whale Island, Porsmouth Base is the Royal Navys head quarters that is within the main harbor of New London City. First created in 80 AS as a dockyard primarily for ships belonging to sea and space vessels for Navy and some air force personnel. However the base was torn down and rebuilt in 600 AS and again later in 808 AS. The base is fully functional to keep save the occupants from nuclear strikes of the city and ports, forty percent of the base is underground. The surface structure can withstand direct bombardment from conventional and energy based weapons but it will eventually give in. The hope is that within that time frame the occupants will be relieved as friendly forces repel the hostiles.
