There was a huge battle where we eventually got toasted and when we launched some of the attackers were waiting outside and started shooting us again. After telling them to stop several times to no avail, even in CAPS--Gosh ;-), we shot back. After we killed one, he said we re-engaged and told us he was going to tell on us. :rtfm: I am guessing he did. ;-(

Does this happen often? What's a good RP Player do in these situations? Whining to the server admins all the time seems... non-RP, and silly.

Since you've asked. First, report back to the admin that sanctioned you, privately. Seriously, the rest of the community can't help you in such cases and stirring up opinion to favor you won't get the admins attention (or maybe it will, but you may not like the results). Just for reference:

5.9 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) while the enemy (player or players involved in the fight) remains in the system, but no more than 4 hours.

If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system without engaging. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.

So, if such a thing actually happened, PM an admin and work things out.
