Origin
Shin Taiki was born in a small New Takashima Island on planet Honshu, the youngest of 3 children of his father, Yoshio, and his mother, Aiko. Being only 3 years old, he reaped the attention of New Takashima’s kindergartners as a very smart kid. Few years later, they decided to invite Honshu specialists and give that kid a proper IQ test. They were all stunned: Shin Taiki made 10 different types of IQ tests of his age and got overall average of 160 points.

Character
But kid himself was sort of outsider: he was rejected almost by everyone in New Takashima preschool and didn't find his brother neither his sister as a friend. He didn't talk much. The only friend he used to spend more time with was 2 years older kid Isamu living in the neighborhood. Specialists suggested sending Shin to the capital city school for special kids. Unfortunately, as a prestigious school, it was a very expensive choice at that moment, so parents decided to delay that for few years.

Critical change
Shin 6 years old. Sin’s only friend Isamu dies during his birthday party: he and 10 of his friends illegally entered firework field, not fully prepared for celebration. Isamu’s head got lacerated, while playing with explosive fire. Shin wrote down the names of 10 Isamu’s friends onto the notebook, stopped talking to everyone for about a year. A month after his dad’s death he wrote down few more lines into the note and began talking in short phrases, realizing, that being silent isn’t good for anything. He made couple of friends at school and teachers really liked his studiousness. He took words as tools to control other people. Somehow, friends felt owing him something and began sharing candies and toys without expecting to get anything in return.

Education
Shin didn’t stay in school for very long and 13 years old he started attending to lectures in New Takashima’s university (few professors saw potential that shouldn’t be wasted). He was studying energetics, paying most of his attention to nuclear energy. In the end of every semester he had to write an thesis – that was the condition to stay in university and keep studies free of charge. He wrote something about nuclear energy and Naval Forces got interested in those texts. They and made sure no one will find out what’s written in there – except for the first article – lector red it, informed NF and disappeared from New Takashima. They also financed the university to build a laboratory designed for spaceship power core prototype manufacturing and testing. With good finances it was finished in 2 years. Shin was 15 and a half year old then and received a VIP right to start and pursue any project available with resources provided in the lab.

Piloting qualification
16 years old Shin began taking piloting studies. Theory part was finished in first half of a month. Practice part: good performance in fighters and average in capital ships. Anyhow, he showed up very well on target practicing: A++ for that line on his piloting certificate.

Blood
His first kill was a corsair legionaire as written in police report. Later he began doing missions with groups to increase fighting skills and enjoy the screams and the view of burning people. 17 years he accidentally opened his old notebook with names in it and gathered information about them. First man was flooded by acid. Second was a cooker: his pepper got mixed with petty plutonium motes and he made something spicy for his birthday party. Most of the remaining listed men were still living in New Takashima Island so Shin decided to get rid of a whole city by initiating a delayed prototype nuclear reactor test in laboratory with replaced security stripes – those were too thin, melt in partial second and reactors fusion became uncontrolled (nuclear fuel load was maximized), which ended in medium nuclear explosion. 20 million bounty was stated on his head.

New life in space
Shin escaped into Omegas and began working with Red Hessians. From them he bought his main ship: Sabre Very Heave Fighter. Few bounty seekers suffered huge doses of radiation while hunting him in Omega 41, while Shin himself was traveling over non-radioactive zones, marked with waypoints. Soon, the bounty was cancelled to prevent more valuable deaths and Shin’s ID appeared on “Kill on sight if spotted in Kusari space” list. That’s usually taken as official declaration of one becoming a terrorist

Becoming one of Joker’s thugs
He was captured by The Joker in Omega41 by using plutonium pods as bait. After a short talk, Shin received a new name “Shushy” and realized he like Joker’s cat Fritz. Joker let Shin sleep with Fritz in one bed, provided him with plutonium, shelter and guns. Shin felt being controlled by Joker and wanted to find out how, so didn’t resist becoming one of his Thugs.

Life as Joker’s Thug
Shushy loved shooting innocent people and showing them fear with maximized gear of his ship. He didn’t take any credits or commodities from traders. Instead he was demanding their captains to kill part of their crew or destroy some of their cargo which was gained with hard work and killing them slowly if case of a refuse, taking escape pods to Omega41 if those didn’t burn with the ship. In case there’s no one to kill, he used to destroy storage depots and replace fresh food, water and commodities with the ones kept in Omega41 space for a few days. This made sure space station will have only few choices: die of starvation, since transport convoys take months to reach them or screw their bodies by eating and drinking radioactive food and water.

Changes after The Joker left on hibernation ship, becoming Mandalorian
With the credits received Thugs separation. Some began using drugs and suffered, only few kept doing what they did before, just… they were flying alone… And Shushy didn’t like that at all. In half a year Shushy’s bank account became empty, since maintaining maximized ship’s gear repaired was expensive so he had to start killing for money. But not alone – he joined the Mandalorian Mercenary Company to remove reputation issues when finding a job and to maintain bank account full.

Mandalorian Shushy
At the beginning he was satisfied about his new way of life, but Mandalorians didn’t spend too much time in space, usually just taking a kill and then having a party for a month in closest liner. This resulted in Shin needing to fly alone more and more often. Number of victims has reduced dramatically, since there’s not that much one can do in a field and less then a quarter of a year later he was officially declared dead due to mistake of rating seeking reporters. Mandalorians didn’t spend much time figuring out what happened and marked him as dead in database as well.


Decision to join the Reavers
Shin rented a room in a liner and didn’t bother himself about being declared dead. He took that a vacation from space life and didn’t fly out into space for a week. On 8th day he decided to make a short trip around few nearby systems and right before turning back, he received help signal from a Bretonian miner, which crying, speaking about his children and wife he has to take care of, promising to pay Shin as much as he wants to save him from one of the Reavers. Shin ignored the call and admired the torture in a safe distance and since Reaver lady was only paid for destruction ship she left the escape pod in an open space. Shin tractored it, kept miner as a guest for a few days, asked him about life as a miner, his family, then gifted a Starflier and let him go, giving one of automated ships as an escort till he reaches trade lanes in Cambridge – telling miner to form up and he’ll be save in that space. Miner died and Shin felt very self-satisfied about the way it happened. For a few days he flew around places Reavers used to work and figured that they rarely fly alone. This is when he decided to become one of them.


Joining the Reavers
Shin didn’t believe Reavers would accept him cause of his past, so he took few of Joker’s gifts – an old man’s mask and a voice changing device used by Molies to trick miners –, made a plan to join the Reavers as a different person and show up his true face once enough trust will be gained. Shushy became a nameless miner and went trough Reavers usual recruitment part.
They laughed at Shin as an old miner.
They laughed at Shin’s face makeup once he revealed myself
They laughed at the way Shin tried to join them.
They knew Shin’s true identity from the very beginning.
The Reavers accepted a former Joker’s Thug Shushy and ex-employee of Mandalorian Mercenary Company Shin Taiki.
They let Shin take the colorless color - ironical as the life itself.
They let Shin show the irony of life to the hunted ones, killing them with their own guns.
They rarely let Shin go out to play alone.
They kept Shin’s bank account full.
Shin Taiki likes that.
