The boss's face went cold for a moment and starred into blank space.
"A n-?"
He was quickly interrupted when the door behind him opened and a guard rushed through. The man leaned over to whisper something into Death Runner's ear. And when he had finished he went back to the door he came in and left.
"Interesting news!.. Professor Foetsch, I think you'll like this.. I have now successfully infiltrated the SCRA. This was planned out before your arrival, just to make sure you did your work properly. But it looks like there won't be any trouble from you. Which is good. That means your friends get to stay alive, and my.. hmm.. spy, I should say, will be sure not to draw his weapon with the intent to harm anyone there. As long as you do your work."
He smiled, grinning with the ever-so-present conscious that tells him he deserves to be in hell ringing through his head.
"Right then! Nomads! This will be tricky. Tricky indeed. I will have to consult with The Oracles yet again and hope they can understand and give us what we need. If not.. Well.. I'll just take it by force."
He rolled himself away slowly, accompanied by several guards. He lifted his hand and was turned around to face the scientists.
"Gentlemen. I hope by now you see that this world is mine. I will get what I want no matter the cost. But I am no dictator or tyrant, I am a loving and caring man with simple pleasures. I reward and I acknowledge those whom work for me.. for the greater good! So do not feel like prisoners here, no, you are esteemed and honorable guests in my home that will be embellished in worthy praise!"
He smiled, breathing steadily and taking in the wonders of his accomplishments. He turned to Torro, and his grin faded.
"I may take your mind away from you, but I will always give it back."
And with those last words, he departed out of the door and into the elevator.
