A story we all heard before

I'm now truly an orphan.

It wasn't always this way. I had a mother, father, brother or two. though i can't even remember my mother's face, I can still see her hair in the morning sun. My mother and brothers died in a transport accident when I was 8 years old. Which left me to my father. He bought a Rhino with the setlement he got from the transport accident, though he was never the same again. He would be gone months at a time, sending money to his mother(also the one who raised me) and when he came home for a day or two, he would barely say two words to me. It was a hard life, but it was what it was.
As I grew into a man I was planing to attend one of the many nameless universities that was located on Manhattan. Though the Price would be like an arm and a leg or my first born. I didn't see any alternative. Of course life has a way of smacking you in the face when you least expect it. The sucker-punch for me was a mail-vid sent from my father. Just like him, the vid was like 15 seconds tops. all he said in it was " Dar, I'm coming to manhattan. It's time you learned the ropes of the business." That would be the last time I ever heard from him.
The official LPI reports was his wreckage was found just outside of the Ralston Ice Field in Pennsylvania. you could barely tell it was a Camara and by the tell tale laser scorch marks and holes rent in it by a Solaris Turret, his demise came at the hands of Liberty Rouges. Though not just your run of the mill huntung pack. It seems my father had the unfortunate run in with a liberty Rogue Gunboat.



Funny how emotions run in us. the man I barely knew as a father was all i had left of my family, and the Liberty Rogues took that away. I'm tired of having things taken from me.


It's about time I started taking back, And I know just who I'll start with.
