[font=Microsoft Sans Serif] This a Legion-wide announcement.
At 1900 hours the spearhead of the re-formed Task-Force Gladius, the Legion Battleships Manticore and Minotaur arrived at the Pacifica Base Perimeter.
Upon arrival the Manticore intercepted encoded transmissions originating from what appeared to be a Red Hessian Army battle-group currently operating in the Hamburg system. Listening in revealed that said operations were of an offensive nature, directed against the Rheinland Military forces present in the area. Due to the circumstances permitting it, Gladius Actual opted to take advantage of the opportunity and engage all present high-value targets as they emerged on the Battlefield, and in doing so provided assistance to the Red Hessian Army forces which had been fighting the Military vessels present in the area for quite some time already.
The results were devastating to say the least. The Battleships [color=#FF9900]Wallenhorst and Hindenburg were annihilated during the first strike.
As the Minotaur had quickly become the center of attention of the remaining Military forces a direct retreat was not an option due to permanent Cruise Disruptor bombardment. Tearing apart the Cruiser Volkingen on the other hand was an option.
Gladius' assets then proceeded to retreat to the Pacifica Perimeter, but after a few minutes a distress call echoed through the channels, originating from the previously-encountered Hessian battle-group's flagship, the Vidar-class Cruiser "Von Rohe".
Gladius Actual saw fit to respond in kind, but as strike-craft weren't currently available for dispatch little aid could be given. Several minutes later however the same Hessian battle-group encountered a third Battleship.
And Gladius cut it down without remorse. The Manticore and Minotaur parted ways with the Hessians afterwards and returned to the Pacifica Base Perimeter.
Majors Hardwood and Kogomi, due your recent discoveries regarding the Junkers, High Command will be re-evaluating our stance. The odd Junker opening fire on Legion assets is one thing, but hearing of Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army vessels being actively based on a Junker installation is an entirely different matter. My artificial self advises your biological ones to keep your surprisingly efficient eyes peeled and ears wide open regarding the any other possible "shady" dealings of the Junkers.
