How a BAF vessel could just leave a battle with KNF involved, in Tau-31. Yeah, I can really see a good way to RP that well....

Its also funny, because I had a fight with a KNF vessel, one of Mjolnir's characters I believe. He said I was lagging, but it was manageable. He had no problem with it from what I could see. Now I always go looking for a second opinion, Had he said to me. "Hey that lags really bad, I couldn't hit you at all" As I believe you said, well then I would have called it a day and left. But when that didn't happen, and he managed to take me down with reasonable haste. I drew the conclusion that there was no problem, as he'd managed to kill me by himself, surely two BSG's could do it.

Now thats fine, that you couldn't hit me due to lag, sure. What can I do. Just RP it for gods sake man! I'm not personally here for the PVP, it just spices things up a bit. I was on a Photo-recon mission and had no intention of engaging anyone.

Then again at Holman, You used yet more OOC in system chat, except this time you forgot the markers. Flogging me off as someone who was exploiting, or cheating, something of the like.

And while I was at Holman, the players I was grouped with said my lag wasn't that noticeable, and that I should not worry.

Now see that? You insulted me right there, we're even.

Ohh and while we're on the subject of attitude, and how much mine sucks. How about we consider this.

I have one of the fastest internet connections available in this country, besides living IN an ISP. I have a 7mbit/512k connection. No interleaving or filtering of any kind. Now that might seem like rubbish, but ask the few who frequent this server who also live in New Zealand, and they'll tell you its about as good as it gets. I was not downloading anything, I play freelancer with nothing else operating in the background, what so ever.
And the fact that you jumped so hastily to the conclusion that I was exploiting really shows something.

You may get 50 ping with a slow connection, good for you! really, honest.

But I bet you don't live about as far away from the server as you can get. I get an average ping of 290-300 to the server, And you're the first person to complain about my lag. Admittedly my internet was rubbish yesterday. But you drawing up all these conclusions, and ridiculing me for someone I'm not really isn't cricket. At least not until you have heard both sides of the story, which you now have.

Would have PM'd that, but then this would have stood as a one sided argument.

7mbit/512k I believe this is ur problem. 7mb download means squat when u have just 512upload and u can clog it easily. You were lagging beyond comprehension mate and we both told u so! If u know you're this far from the server, fly Capital ships not fighters. You know lagging is your advantage, and using it against your foes, is just EXPLOIT!
