So, I finished the main quest yesterday with a lvl 40 character. I'm mildly impressed, the last hour is really epic, but overall, I preferred Oblivion's main quest. I find it to have a better feeling to it (that doesn't mean Skyrim's main quest is crappy; as I said, it has its pure epic moments).
I also finished the Imperial Legion quest line. It felt more like a continuation of mini-missions than really a quest, but I guess that's what military campaigns are. It also offers a lot of combat with allies and enemies, that's always nice. And it's a great plus to get to choose sides in the war.
The Companions quest line was entertaining, similar to Oblivion's Warriors Guild in terms of pew pew (or slash slash) opportunities.
Haven't tried to join any other guild with this character, as he's more a of a straightforward warrior and I prefer to join the Thieves or Mages Guild with actual thieves and mages characters.
' Wrote:Fun fact: Daggers don't benefit from +one-handed enchants, so with a fully enchanted suit you're actually better off with the 6x/12x sneak damage from swords, axes, or maces than with the 15x/30x from daggers...
Good to know, but I trust this will be fixed in a patch, like the bugged elemental resistances.
