How about reading comprehension 101?
Independents do not like faction rules, like stay in a Mk.1 light fighter until we say so, do this and do that and you might be considered for a promotion to a mk.1 HF (ooooooh, fancy). No one ever said anything about not following server rules.
Don't place retarded restrictions on new players joining your factions and you might get more people into them.
