Why beat around the bush, why not just say exactly what you are talking about. The others are right, we do not like big corporations. They are greedy and they are the principle reason for most of the corruption that exists in the house governments. This is why we have chosen to live outside the normal bounds of house governments and corporations. It's also why we have such an open door policy at Junker bases. We want to give people a place to do business outside the corporate umbrella.
Sometimes we do work with corporations. We are sneaky, and sometimes it serves our interests to work with them and it's often hard to say which side is using the other more.
Now as to your specific actions since that is why I believe you made your comments. I will be very clear about this. We do not tell Junkers not to pirate and we absolutely do not tell them not to buy ore from 'questionable' sellers. This is exactly why I bought ore off you when I knew full well where you got it. There are a few things I think you need to learn about being a Junker however. We are NOT common pirates and we should not be known as such. The single greatest asset Junkers have is our quasi-legal status. This allows us to do business with various groups outside the law and still land on lawful bases. We can act as a go between. Yes, we do many, many less than legal things. The trick is we do them in a way that people don't see them. We act so as to have deniability. Now, I understand that you were trying to deny what you were doing today, but when you are in group with 2 corsairs and you are sitting right on top of one of them when he blows up a trader and then take off with the loot it is pretty flipping obvious to everyone what you are doing. We do the same thing in the Congress but we don't group with the pirates and we stay out of scanner range while the piracy is going on and come in to collect the loot afterward. That's how Junking works.
Yes, we do sometimes sit in system and buy ore in lawful ways. When there are military ships in system scanner us and watching it's a great way to craft our image. The idea is to do all those nasty little things on the side, but act like we aren't really doing them.
One more thing, Junkers do look out for each other. When one Junker has made a deal with a trader, it is very bad form for another Junker to come in, blow that person's ship up and run off with the loot another Junker was waiting for. Yes, I know full well you did not do the shooting but you were just as involved as the ones who did.
