mod dev: new kind of battleships

The minute I see this. I thought to myself...

"Hey, that design looks familiar. Of course! Its similar (somewhat) to the battleships from that anime I was watching!"

Yeah.
It looks like the bottom half of the front of a Federal Old Battleship or the bottom half of the front of an Ades Class Battleship that has the frontal ram replaced with a gun placement
Also, the anime is Last Exile: Fam the Silver Wing

Perhaps you can gain some inspiration from those.

Other than that, nice design. Could be more streamlined. Also, the guns look HUGE. Perhaps guns on a smaller scale? Also, the guns are mainly on the top. Perhaps spreading out on the bottom as well would be nice. Otherwise, its going to have problems dealing with enemies that go under it. (Or was that your intention as a balancing factor?)
