Doc had just arrived on planet and was looking forward to some time home. Stopping in to Canaria Medical was a stupid idea for any physician wanting some rest and relaxation. He walked in to Doreen trying to defib someone back to life and a crashed Coalition pilot.
"Midori, I'll be home later I guess," he said to his wife as he kissed her and his kids good bye.
He immediately attended to the pilot.
"Thank goodness you're here, Doc," frantically said one of the medics, "one punctured lung, the other about to collapse, burns and numerous broken bones are but the start." As he spoke, Doc ran a scan.
"All right, get him into surgery. I'll be along after I scrub up and send a message to Premier Katz," he ordered.
After sending his message, he reported to surgery. He was able to save the lung from collapsing with a tube.
His work was only started.
