It is for me.
You remember how long we fought, you in your Saber and me in Viper? It was around 30-40 mins.
And that was pretty fast, i must say. Because none of us had the will to camp shield, and i am glad it was like that.
But when i fight some persistent people who are shield camp masters, then i fight for a very very long time.
So, i guess it's not all about the hull.. More is about the shield camping. Well, no changes there needed.
That's why i love Inferno.
You can let him camp his shield, one pass and bye bye all the effort.
For the 2. option, i disagree that fighters would be less used.
It's like saying, gunboats are too strong, so n00b gunboat pilots are switching to destroyers, because they die fast from other gunboats.
I disagree, i think it would give fighters an edge and a reason to be used.
3. option is the safest way, and it's prolly worth a shot.
And yes, flying Vanilla ships is dangerous. I remember when i fought against a GB with another eagle.
GB had 2 dragonfly missile launchers. If even 1 hit me, i'm dead:)
So, it lasted for 20 mins, because we had to be very careful not to get shot down.
But we took him down in the end, and then the LSF guys came, we took 2 of them down, and then my teammate blew me with a nuke:P
I'm much more afraid of friendly mines then enemy ones.
But for example, when i fly a Blood Dragon HF (which is Vanilla), i don't feel the same risk.
It's too safe in it. It's so damn agile and small that i'm not worried at all.
Not even once i died in it from the blast.
I haven't tried a Wrath yet, but i guess it's pretty much the same.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
