Do Bombers suck as much as I think they do?

:)well a couple of days back, I was flying my corsair cruiser against a poorly equiped molly battleship (he had like 5 or 6 basic turrets), giving him a run for his money... and then two bombers apear from nowhere in mid texas, they engaged me without much RP (but i have no objections here, as they were bounty hunters) and they took me down in a matter of seconds, without any real damage to them...

Now if you only need two bombers to take down a cruiser, I think they are good enough. So good in fact that i bought one, the civilian version, with it's endless supply of power, great allmighty two torp slots,...:)... didn't get in to any Pvp's yet, as the server crashed...

So from the receving end of the bomber run, i'm quite satisfied... sure perhaps you need a good tactic to suprise a cruiser, but you can take it down, efficiently and quickly...
