Disco changed much from vanila FL. Armors are increased, new ships added, some weapons boosted...Why would it hurt to increase all fighter weapons projectile speeds by 100 or 200m/s?

After reading Yngens suggestion more carefully, I'd like to agree on one matter: Fighters should be small deadly "death traps" They shouldn't have so much armor and nanobots, but should have MORE firepower to counter it. Fighter pilot shouldn't be able to make as many mistakes and live, as he can do now with 2x full nano bot regen. But, just reducing quantity of bots for fighters, would affect balance. Thus, I'd suggest either cutting in half bot/batteries supply for all types of vessels, or cutting on some (e.g. fighters) while significantly increasing their firepower in return.
If you make a mistake, you should die for it. Also, If you have a chance to do damage, you should do a lot more. I'd rather have skills winning over endurance.
One way or the other, something should be done, to enhance game play for fighters...
