I was alone in patrol today. Everything seemed quiet in New Berlin, but awfully busy in Stuttgart, so I decided to move there. After processing the clearance of many traders I was informed by long range stations that the Bundschuh Herr_Ripplinger (Border Worlds Sabre) was moving across Rheinland territory. At that moment he had just entered Dresden. I then decided to take the jumpgate to the system. As soon as I jumped I met the criminal. We then engaged and quickly I managed to damage his fighter badly with a razor shot and a nuclear mine. He then fled to the Frankfurt jumpgate. Even though I imagined it to be a trap I followed suit.
As I reached Frankfurt the Bundschuh had managed a good distance from me. As I moved closer to the tradelanes I noticed another hostile ship had joined, another Sabre ([Wraith]Shadow). I stuck to my first target while avoiding the second's ship fire. Quickly I landed another two Razor shots that forced the first ship to leave. I then moved my attention to the second ship.
The battle was fierce, but ended quickly, as both my ship and his sucumbed to the same mine blast. Unfortunately the Wrath indeed seems very susceptible to these mines. I had my hull untouched as the mine made contact.
