unlucky for me the update didn't start automaticly,
so I installed the update manualy ...
and now nothing works anymore...
when I start I get the reunion screen... then a crash...
unloaded 4.85 ... restart ... get freelancer 1.0 screen then crash...
when I start FL-server it shown 48.60 but crashes after 30seconds...

(another question, if I reinstall everything, are my characters gone?)

reinstalled FL from scratch
then the 4.85 mod, then the 486 update... crash, crash crash...
please can someone pm me to tell me what I'm doing wrong...
Do not install 4.85.
reinstall FL from scratch...then 4.86 only...and into a different directory than the orignal FL one.
