400 units wont hurt me personally much really- with them or without the difference is none- my bigger concern is that players will make money a way too easy and a way too fast and it will break the eco chain- traders feed pirates pirates feed lawfulls and mercs- traders make lawful chars etc. I personally have a lot of stuff but still cannot use it all so I guess when you can make 1 b per month with dedicated trading after 5-6 months you wont log your trader more and then the eco chain disbands. That's why I do hope that the Devs have made the new bases and drives and stuff to be continued credit black holes that will suck the wealth of the players.
Pirating is not changed at all from the PvP aspect:
I would say- the bombers have now more options to do more dmg faster then in 4.85, the P-transp have almost the same fire-power, Pirate GBs can now protect itself very effective even vs 2-3 enemy fighters.
However the combination of making more credits per second the amount of traders. and the ability of the pirates to hurt trader finances less(cargo piracy) will decrease rapidly fast the numbers of traders even in short term. Because 2-4 M demand does not hurt any trader really, when you unload his cargo is different- that's why traders don't fly with escorts- piracy is cheaper then escort.
