We sell the parts - total about $12 - for the RROD fix.

First off, go to http://www.llamma.com and see HOW to do the fix.

Then pick up some generic arctic silver and some 10mm bolts, nylon washers, and regular washers. Also get some Goo-Gone to help clean the old heat sinks off, and some alcohol to clean stuff completely before you put the new compound back on.

Takes about 2 hours (or less) from start to finish.

My 360 - which was a pre-production model, and due to various things spent a year and a half in a Wal-Mart before I got it - RROD'd at age 2 1/2. I fixed it using the fix as described on the website above. That was five YEARS ago. It works perfectly fine, and has done so ever since I fixed it.

Since then, I personally have fixed 4 360's this way, and I sell someone these parts about every other week. It's a good and solid fix IF YOU DO IT RIGHT.
