Quote:Can demand contraband, levy fines, and destroy ships if they refuse to comply with contraband demands, refuse to cooperate --->or<--- are affiliated with a group at war with the Coalition.
I guess SCRA is not in war with all smugglers in Sirius and if so there must be reason for it.
If you are gonna demand Slaves Cardamine and Artefacts only add it to the ID and demand this only
Notice the key word is OR. Meaning we can destroy people if they refuse to comply, co-operate OR they are affiliated with a group at war with the Coalition. As for adding a specific line, keep in mind if we encounter a Corsair ID'ed Transport or an Outcast ID'ed Transport, the Coalition thing to do would be to hinder said transports because they actively support our enemies.
There's no longer an explicit line, but like I said and I say this as a High Command Member and Third in Command, if someone attacks a Civilian, we will boot them. It's that simple, there are no "promises" about it. And rest assured, the entire High Command agrees with that point.
I can't speak for any other factions but the Coalition has always been strict in the way it operates. From its founding up till now, we have had freedom to do a lot of things but haven't acted on those freedoms because it makes no sense at all for the Coalition to do those things. We have always been harsh on people who do not follow our RP. That's the way the Coalition has conducted itself, that's the way it will continue to conduct itself.
Quote:So that's why I see no reason to change exactly those 4.85 IDs and giving unlimited freedom to 3 factions while the rest have limitations- It is not fair to the others.
Really, there's very little difference between the 4.85 ID and the 4.86 ID. It's just worded a lot better and updated to better reflect our current roleplay. For example, a long, long time ago, around when the ID was written I believe we were allied with the Corsairs, so it would make no RP sense to have the line "Able to demand Artifacts" in our ID. Now, obviously, we're not allied. So we would do our best to hinder them.
