We are at war with corsairs for a very easy to understand reason. Because they are corsairs.
Corsair society is full of a massive sense of might makes right - they are bloodthirsty, belligerent, and completely convinced of there own superiority - which makes them closed minded barbarians - theyll kill anyone and everyone, because no one is worth consideration past there own society - the concept of human rights on a planet with no food is a joke, and they have sacrificed and eaten there own in the past.
Corsairs will never accept anyone but corsairs ruling the entire universe. Because of that, and because not everyone, if anyone, wants to live under cruel fascist tyrants, they have to die.
A couple of notes:
First, we have Hogosha and Farmers (the Gaians went neutral and we returned the favor) which are both on the other side of Sirius and thus irrelevant.
About the second issue, I hope that's just the SCRA's propaganda. Just in case it isn't and you really have no idea about what the corsairs are and do here is some info about the Corsairs:
- you're right about first part. We're warriors, we do think we're better than everyone else, we might seem barbarians to some, but we're by no means closed minded.
- our aim is not to kill anyone and everyone just for sport, but because time and problems forced us to get what we need at gunpoint.
- we pirate because we have to, not because we want to. That's why we're trying to get biodomes and supplies sent our way in the first place
- the Ventru have scarified themselves so the others will survive and I see that as socialism taken to extreme, in a weird and creepy way
- we do not want to rule the entire universe, we just want Cambridge or Stuttgart so that we will feed our own people
People are forgetting we were there (Omegas/Omnicrons) first, long before the Order, Zoners, BH/Core, Hessians, Mollys, RoS or SCRA even came into existence so from where I'm standing it's them attacking us, not the other way around
