Closed Factions IDs= Terrorist IDs?

Wasn't arguing over the ID - I'm trying to explain a faction to a lot of folks here who still see us as the phantoms, just with some red in our black.

If you aren't phantoms then you shouldn't have an idea which grants SCRA total freedom on how to act.

We are at war with corsairs for a very easy to understand reason. Because they are corsairs.

Strange how this turned from alliance with sairs into a "war" with sairs. But propably you haven't been in the server than this was the case.

Corsair society is full of a massive sense of might makes right - they are bloodthirsty, belligerent, and completely convinced of there own superiority - which makes them closed minded barbarians - theyll kill anyone and everyone, because no one is worth consideration past there own society - the concept of human rights on a planet with no food is a joke, and they have sacrificed and eaten there own in the past.

That was self secrafice, a noble act of altruisim. The current image of the horde of savages is partly intentional product. People ussaly makes up myths about something they are really afraid of. But if we would get back to violant aggression thing. Workers revolution works on the same concept. They are oppresed so the only way to ensure their decent survival and freedom is by bloodshed. Sairs on the other hand aren't in the best situation either. As I repeat, they didn't choose to be aggresive robbers. It was a way for them to survive. With some officials sairs aren't violant. For exmple Samura or in 4.86 Gallia.

SCRA who was working with sairs earlier knows the truth. Not the myths. This of course doesn't justify alliance, but war is something pretty much stupid thing to do and doesn't makes much sense. Unless again, SCRA takes up global police force / hero role trying to save whole sirius from whatever threats.

Corsairs will never accept anyone but corsairs ruling the entire universe. Because of that, and because not everyone, if anyone, wants to live under cruel fascist tyrants, they have to die.

This is quite ridiciuolus. All corsairs care is about survival of their own people. Not global conquest. SCRA on the other hand are trying to push genocide according to their own prejudice. Well propably not something I should be surprised about radical left side... genocide was always part of any radical ideas.

That was a long time ago, and the fact you mentioned a perma banned person, who the concept of attacking civilians seemed like just his kinda thing. either way, that attitude, the one you just displayed, is vehemently crushed within the current SCRA as it is.

The person was working under orders, not on his own discretion. Also, he was permabanned not becouse of SCRA. I don't see how your ad hominem is relevent to the subject. Moreover, just becouse this was earlier, doesn't mean it won't happen again. The opposite it shows the need that such occurances should be prevented. If you support it, why you don't just let fix your ID accordinatly and shake the shade falling on your faction? Pride doesn't let you to do it? why you should be treated specialy compared to all the other factions then?

What we wish to preserve is the ability to interdict people carrying genuinely harmful commodities - those being Cardimine, Slaves, and in the case of the corsars, we want to harm their economy by stopping the artifact trade

Those commodities can be mentioned in the ID. Thus leaving you the ability to do so.

Then were glad its not up to you, since you seem to have a warped opinion on what our faction is, and what it does

I've been around for long. And I've been in both camps to see how things are working. Despite my image of rough "pvp-whore" doesn't mean that I don't really care how rp lore is developing.
