Under the command of Korvettenkapitan Rall, Hauptgefreiter Guntram and me moved to Frankfurt on a recon mission to identify a couple of ships in the area. They were one Unioneer fighter (Bernd Schuster) and one Red Hessian Cruiser from Wraith (Aufstand). With both targets identified we stood by for support from AEGIS. The battle cruiser reached us and we dealt first with the Red Hessian Cruiser. The Unioneer ship offered some resistance at first, but seriously outnumbered moved to flee the area.
Fregattenkapitan Schprokets took charge of the flight group right afterwards. A group of Phantoms entered New Berlin as we were returning. We moved in to intercept, but as we reached Hamburg they were already spotted outside of Rheinland territory.
As our ships were regrouping a Bundschuh vessel (Herr_Ripplinger) was spotted at the jump gate to Frankfurt. The ship jumped to the system and we followed suit. There it grouped with a LWB ship (Ahren.Varick) and we engaged. A RepEx operative (Gunther) from the Black Talon squadron joined us. After a long fight, the Bundschuh ship fled and the LWB was destroyed.
