Good Morning,
My name is Lukas Schmidt. I was born on Planet New Berlin in 764 A.S. to two devoted parents. They raised me until I was 18, when I moved out. I joined the Rheinland Military, and quickly became one of their best pilots. In 788 A.S., the Rheinland Police performed a raid on the building my father was working in, trying to find a spy who was working for the Liberty Government. They 'mistakenly' shot my father thinking he was involved with this 'spy'. They later denied that they shot him, and gave my mother, brother and sister no compensation. My mother, enraged, attacked and killed the Police officer who informed her of the tragedy. I took my ship and collected my family and we fled to Freeport 2 in Bering. We lived there for for 4 years until we became aware of Police officers asking around the station. We once again fled, but this time, we sought sanction with the Red Hessians, on Vogtland Base. I was offered a position aboard a 'Hel' class cruiser, and joined the Hessian pilots in their raids on Military and Daumann ships. My captain saw my potential, and I was assigned Captain aboard a Heimdall gunship. It wasn't until 800 A.S. that I was given command of my own Cruiser, a prototype 'Vidar' class. 16 years after that, I was granted access to become the captain of one of the first Jormungand class Battleships. And now here I find myself signing up for this elite branch of Red Hessian pilots and captains.
