"Now you will see how much you need us".
You knew very well that the enemy fleet was incoming. The call to arms was made with you and your little army in system, and you still chose to leave. That is the FACT of the matter, Carlos.
But, Teresa speaks wiser words than both the council of Elders and yourself. Although, even if we extended a hand of forgiveness to the Benitez, the first thing they would say would either be "It is not us who need to be forgiven" or "Well, we don't trust you, so shove off".
Nevertheless, as much as I dislike you, our guns will stay cold in your presence, as they have done for eons.
You are our brothers, whether I like it or not. My duty is not to hate you, but to prevent you from gaining too much power over the other familia on Crete. That is the duty of the Council of Elders, my duty. If you choose self exile over unification, that is your choice.
I realise that all Corsairs, even myself so recently, can succumb to the fiery Corsair blood that flows through us all.
So, do you wish to continue these petty squabbles, or act now to unify all Corsairs?
