I chose a story on war refugees' cause there isn't a ''Roman-Italian technology'' in game and I think this story is the best way to make an Italian faction because it makes it credible.

Outcasts and Corsairs are the descendants of the crew of the Hispania, which was overloaded with Spanish and Italian people because of the malfunction of the Italian sleeper ship. As far as I know well, Outcasts mostly contain Italian blood line with a little Spanish in them, while Corsairs are of pure Spanish origin. I really don't want to ruin your concept about the first Italian faction, but the Outcasts are the first ones.

About the similarity between the origin of the Colonials and you, Latins, it's not really my concern, just saying not to be surprised if somebody else annoyed might post in this topic.

@ Insignificant One:
I'm not sure where, but there is definitely a misunderstanding between us. I did not say the Latins are Outcasts, neither that Nomads attacked Outcasts, I said that in my opinion the latin naming would fit them better than Zoners. Yes, you know well that Nomads aren't on hostile terms with Outcasts.
