Kell surveyed the space around the Nidhogg from his command chair, wincing in pain as he moved his arm, forgetting he had been shot there.

That blind jump cost us, but at least we're alive he thought, looking at his bridge crew.

Kell glanced down at the datapad in his hand

Jump Drive: Destroyed.


The last entry stuck out to Kell, but came of no surprise.

During its construction, the Nidhogg had been outfitted with an experimental Jump Drive developed by Division 7, it was never meant to be used in this way, however it had to be.

Kell looked to his navigation officer, Lieutenant Jack "Ghost" Wilson. "Jack, where are we?" Kell asked.
