Paying a few bucks for more messaging space? I've heard of worse ways to spend money.

And out comes the sexism card, I loved that in work to the point it got the girl suspended.

EDIT2:
This typical game demographics, aka action, space and that sort of genre are generally geared towards the male demographic. Why? Because its a safe bet that most guys like guns, explosions and kicking the rear end out of aliens. Simple as. While there are girls who do like this, trust me I know a few, their number tends to be far lower than the male demographic. Leading to the stereotype that only guys like these games.
