As Battleship Moselle received an Emergency Report of three unkown Libertonian Vessels in Hamburg System, i got scrambled to Rendevouz with the Quick Response Flotte at Hamburg Gate to repell the Intruders.
I arrived first at the Rendevouz Point. Loitering beside the Hamburg Jumpgate was a Drone of unknown origin. After Several attemts to contact the Drone had failed, i was afraid that the drone, loitering the Jumpgate into a System where enemy activites have been reported, might be part of the enemy forces and gathering Intel on inbound Rheinwehr units, so i have decided to destroy it.
Oddly enough just a few moments later, a drone of the same specifics had re-entered New Berlin from the libertonian besieged Hamburg system, broadcasting following message:
[color=#FFFF00] "Gefreite Franck, this is Admiral Schmidt from the High Command speaking, please do not destory our idling drones next time"
If that vessel was really property of Rheinland Military Assets, i hereby apologize. But since I was not aware of such vessels being owned by the Military, and with the Vessel not responding, nor having any proper IFF responder mounted, i had to go through all possibilites which left me no choice but to destroy the vessel.
So.. Just a few seconds as i've received the Broadcast from the Drone, Libertonian Forces where entering New Berlin. As allied elements of the Quick Response Flotte were still enroute to my position i had to stall their forces alone. I engaged their single Snub Bomber Escort evading the defensive fire of the two libertonian capital ships, and started to work on decimating the bombers regens. Thankfully, it took not all to long before BDM|RNC-Brynhildr arrived at the scene and helped me out. With the Bomber already lacking regens, the Marinenachrichtendienst Cruiser was quickly able to pick up the Kill, and so we started working on the Capital Ships.
Sadfully my Wraith VHF was not equipped for fighting Captials, yet i still had to support our Cruiser and the recently joined Rheinland Bomber piloted by Gefreiter Gehlen, so i've decided to go in full risk, diving in for fast fly-bys while deploying Nuclear mines as i passed their hulls. I did that maneuver several times helping BDM|RNC-Brynhildr taking down one of the enemy Capitals. As i moved on to the second, and therefor last Libertonian Ship, their close range weaponry managed to take me out of action as i came in for the third Mine deploying fly-by.
Thankfully my Survival Pod got tractored in by our Assets as soon the last remaining Libertonian Ship had been eliminated.
