The pilot of the ship Sinjo (Mammoth, Trader ID) continues in his crusade to try and demoralize RM pilots at any cost. After verbally insulting and disrespecting Rheinland Military officers and mocking our procedures copiously the ship was tracked down and found at the crossing by Strausberg and Bonn by the Jaeger. The ship then managed to arrange for docking clearances from the Strausberg bridge. After we contacted the bridge of the Strausberg, the ship was forced out. We then engaged and destroyed the ship.
Many minutes later Gefreiter Quentin informed that our ground personnel had reports of a known smuggler ship roaming our outter systems. As we deployed to try and box the ship, we noticed the pilot Zapp, from BLS, lurking in Frankfurt. I had Quentin investigate and asked AEGIS to give him support. Since I was in a bomber and figured Zapp would probably be in a fighter, I decided to stay back and patrol the planet imagining it could be a ruse to drive us away from New Berlin. Moments later I picked up Zapp on my scanners.
My scanners would barely lock him, so I figured he should've circled around the planet to avoid our sensors. I had our flight group split and find him. A few moments later Gefreiter Quentin reported positive contact around the Sigma-13 jumphole and engaged. Zapp was flying a Blood Dragon VHF.
As I was moving to assist I noticed a Corsair ship entering the area from the jumphole, a Titan registered as Phaedrus Zeta. My fighting with that one didn't last long. Even though I was loosing ground gradually, I was also springing my trap for him and eventually scored a straight antimatter cannon shot at his ship before he could react and raise his shields.
Quentin and the Outcast were still fighting when I cleared the Titan's debris. I then moved to help Quentin, but as I approached the area my sensors read a sudden shut down of Quentin's systems that rendered his ship motionless enough time for the Outcast to destroy his ship. As I moved in and collected his scape pod, the Outcast, in a very bad shape, evaded me and fled to Sigma. Quentin is now recovering at our hospital, his wounds are very superficial and he should be okay in no time.
I'd like to recomend that Gefreiter Quentin receive the Wound Badge in recognition of his excellent performance in battle and the unfortunate problem with his ship.
