The man cleared his throat and andressed his interlocutors in a calm, friendly speech.

We wanted to avoid a bloodshed and resolve things in peace but the other party decided against it. As for that Coalition warship, well, I believe it has stepped way past its boundaries, and we were forced to retaliate.
