A concerned citizen

A pair of legs could be seen underneath the reactor of a newly developed Rheinland fighter.
A floating repair drone can be seen above the individual monitoring coolant levels.
Upon turning slightly, we barely see the insignia of the Marinenachrichtendiens. The man is an intelligence officer; he is attempting to bypass the secondary coupling to boost the flow toward the inter-mix chamber.
His left hand gropes around for the right tool. When he can't reach it, he slides out from underneath the chamber to grab it.
He wipes his hands before he continues with the repairs.
Just as he is about to slide back under the chamber, something is heard squeaking inside the cock-pit.

"Computer, are we being hailed?", asks the officer.
"Negative.", responds the computer VIA the drone.
"Identify the source..."
"Signal is a general call over the entire quadrant."
"Distance?,"
"Signal is being relayed 43 parsecs away, in the Gungenheim sector."
"Relay into Engineering."
The computer did as it was commanded. Within seconds the message could be heard in the engineering section.

'I am a citizen. A concerned citizen of Rheinland. I have eyes and can see what is going on now. It's not hard to see the poor state our great country is in. Our nation has been fighting a war with.......'

The captain sat there, eyes wandering in thought, listening to this individual's message. He raised an eyebrow....it has been countless times that he has heard such pleas - cries for help - both from prisoners, and protesters alike.
He slid under the chamber to continue the modifications, all the while listening to this man's message.

'.........we do our jobs with out question and without hesitation in the hope that he will lead us to victory and not let our nation fail.'

*switch to camera shot above the officer but underneath the chamber*

We see an expression of dismay, though a crack in his lips suggests a smile. If only he knew what was truly happening, he thought.
He sighed and continued his work. "Computer, let me know if you encounter the signal again. And set course at half impulse. Engage stealth mode. Continue to monitor remote communications."
"Affirmative. Powering down primary systems."

*camera zooms out of ship to exterior. Ship can be seen above an unknown planet near it's northern magnetic pole.*
