idea for battleships...

a battleship shouldn t thrust for more than 130 - but thrusters are useful even if they only thrusted 100 - cause when an BB E-kills, it can change direction with its thrusters - right now, it cannot do that.

anyway, its only an approach - however the high interest in further working on the complicated subject of battleships is still of great interest - even if the chances that anything will ever be changed are quite small. it starts with the opinions drifting greatly apart from each other - about limiting capships in general, by those that would rather not like them in player hands at all .. .to players that love them and do not have a problem with capship spam - up to the possibilities to actually work on the subject and balance issues.

either way, its impossible to please everyone. some things have been changed so far - that is the increase of the price of battleships by 4 times ... another issue propagated by the cap hating part has been inplemented, too - the "one BB per person" rule. that those were just 2 suggestions out of hundreds concerning BBs - i d like to know what igiss thinks about the whole Battleship discussion - if he thinks that battleships are OK the way they are - or too strong, too cheap, too weak - whatever.
