I thank you for your message. It's always good to hear from those who care about
us out there.
Your concerns and the concerns of other non-Zoners are indeed justified.
However, be rest assured that the actions I have taken to this point have
been a means to temporarily secure the Freeport populations from Corsair hostilities
during negotiations.
It is one of my main goals in negotiation to ensure that Zoner Freeports
will retain their rights and freedoms.
This whole issue started because certain groups used Freeports 5, 9 and Corfu Base
to stage and base raiding parties. This is a gross disrespect of our Freeport Policy and
it needs to be dealt with. The temporary lockdowns I have announced have been to both
remove and prevent raiding parties on the mentioned Freeports temporarily until a permanent
solution can be made to prevent them.

All I can do is hope that our friends and allies understand the pressure on Zoners in the
Omicrons right now and respect that we need some time in order to sort things out peacefully.
