It was an interesting trip back from Corsica with the Perihelion... we were jumped by a flight of two VERY poorly piloted Titans and a Praetorian. The missiles got the Titans within a minute of the engagement, and our gunners should be congratulated for mauling that Praetorian, he was a MUCH harder target. After chasing him back into Gamma we were engaged by a Benitez Praefect. He was completely destroyed, and we suffered a thirty- percent Structural Integrity loss...pretty pathetic, for a ship with something like half again as much armor as we had. Shortly after her death the Olympiakos, which I must say is a MUCH more decent ship, captain and crew, tried to intercept. They were down to about twenty percent hull when we finally received the critical hull alert and had to fall back to the Freeport for a patch job. A successful operation, I think; two fighters downed, one destroyed Cruiser and another severely damaged. They won't come after us for a LONG time, I think. Whitaker out.
