First of all:

I hope you will be fine as soon as possible, and this situation will be no more, just a bad feeling in your memory. You described your feelings, your fears and well, its was something what we call, human behaviour.

You know, there are a lot of fals alarms, but you have to be well sure about it. The worst is the fear, so I hope you will forget this after you get the papers, what contains, that you are allright and healthy.

As a side note, what isnt important here: sorry for my inactivity mate, you are a great fella, but my real life part owns my time novadays, and its fine. Girlfriend, carrier, family and friends, etc. Although I hope you will come back with good news, and we could discuss the cure of the cat flu again.
