Continuation of discussion about IC-Rheinland conflict

With a sudden increase (especially such a ridiculously large increase as taking on all of Rheinland's food supply), it's not an issue of production, but of stockpiling.
The idea that Samura has enough food (fresh food too, since i believe they dont produce crap like synthpaste) stockpiled to fulfill all of Rheinland's needs for any longer than a week or two is ludicrous.
Could production be ramped up quickly? Yes.
Most companies can dramatically increase production quite easily, but here's the thing.
They don't, beacuse there's no successful business venture in the world that has current excess capacity, beacuse excess capacity is wasted effort.
If a plant produces twice the product that gets bought in a month, they don't build a warehouse to store all the extra product in, they switch to half-hours or lay off half their workers.
You've got it almost completely backwards. Samura, with a concerted effort and the demand and credits from Rheinland to do so, could definitely expand production enough to cover two houses indefinitely.
The long-term is not the issue, but rather the short term, before Samura can put into place the extra facilities, yet after Synth has already torched everything.

LOL you sure don't know what are you talking about. I mean about Samura.(sit on your IC)

They had production to cover whole house(Kusari) before synth came there.. and draw them off from market, right now they have even more planets and more production with alien researches, so they can easely cover 2 houses at once.. for a short period of time month or two... because they are driving synth from kusari too, meaning. If 0.6 of production right now goes to Kusari.. 0.4 can go to rhein... with taking control over food market in kusari.. they will use 0.8 of production in kusari.... leaving rhein with 0.2.

So I'm correct on this, they can cover for a short period of time, before their production kicks in with even more power for along term production.

Don't know well, do not interfere... see.. I'm not talknig about IC.. since I have no idea what they control in rhein.

....And now mentioning Samura, that's just another try at raising activity in Kusari, possibly bundies since their main entrance's from the Taus, and that makes unlawfuls even more happy.
