gotto add, that its not only the lawfuls spawning battleships. yesterday, i went through NY ( or tried so on cheshire, server crashed ) - and at norfolk, what do i find there? - a rogue outcast destroyer. i attack at once ( low chances in my cute little ship but even so ) - after a few shots, i wonder how the outcast destroyer can drop my shields that quickly - and where the many nice flashes of light come from.
in a corner of my eye i see a lane hackers outcast battleship. (....) so, i can understand the LSF using capital ships. there were a battleship + destroyer at norfolk, the military navy shipyard. BOTH of them were not hostile to the lawforces ( well - of course, it would have been painful to idle there when missouri would have shot back )
sadly, my own shots hit the shipyard while i was taking cover - and i turned red to missouri () so i, as a BHG had to run from the libery forces - and the fleet of lane hackers and rogues idled at norfolk making fun of the BHGs poor aim.
soo - asking why the LSF would sometimes move out their capital ships?
ps.: didn t pick up their names, but the LH- usually uses fighters, so i don t think it was them ( in that case - slightly off topic ) - but with all the capital ships invading new york, i sometimes wondered why the LSF doesn t use heavier stuff. on the one hand its "honourable" or however you call it - to use fighters - but its sometimes better ... and more believable for a house faction to counter with just a "knock-out" argument, which is major firepower.
pps.: about bases and systems that are "unknown" to the chars. yes and no. if those bases are so unknown, then villains should not flee to them when they are chased closely. if they do, there is no reason the character chasing shouldn t know about the bases.
