What Bindo said is correct. There is no way Samura currently has the means to feed all of Rheinland without a sizable ramp up in production (that is long term). The reason for this is simple - a corporation isn't going to produce 15 million tons of product X if they are only selling 3 million tons. They'll do exactly what Bindo said.

Samura has no reason to be producing enough food to supply both Kusari and Rheinland right now, so no they couldn't support Rheinland without cutting into the production that feeds Kusari. I'm not sure the Kishiro led government is going to allow Samura to force food rationing onto its own populace in order for Samura to make a quick buck.

Yes, in the long term Samura is a considerable threat to Synth should Rheinland turn to them.

Yes, yes.. Samura don't produce..... REALLY? read through all of rumors on bases... they are producing much more that they had.. for the same cost = they have overcapacity for Kusari.
Also.. since synthpaste.... is paste.. Rhein can have some stockpile of it = more time for Samura to integrate. And Ku gov don't have power over samura corporation business.

It is in vanilla, and if it's changed now that's imo a pretty wack move. All the Kusari youngsters love paste, and it was a part of the general 'waa why aren't things like they were in the past' vibe that they gave Kusari.

In general, synth paste is much cheaper, much more popular, and has way better infrastructure than any alternative.

Read rumors on Kyushu and Junyo, Samura grabbing back what they had.
