( if thats true, they expected a whole LH fleet ) - its not up to the defender ( as they appeared to defend ) to choose the forces, its upon the attacker to use appropriate forces.
"Defending" Liberty in front of Buffalo.... hmm I think I will start defending Rheinland in front of Crete then. All the LH characters were lvl 50 and under...and yes it was the whole LH "fleet". Because LH are not a "fleet" and they are not fighting a "war". They are hacking trade lanes.
I have never seen the LH actually attack any police forces. They pirate and hack the trade lanes... and get attacked by the police.
At least last time the security force/navy attacked us at Beaumont with fighters.

@Duke nuke'm,
I can see a capship coming to protect traders by the planets/trade lanes, perfectly RP for me. But not going hunting LFs around in the Badlands.

@Sniper
You already got my opinion on that... just keep two bombers online and you will be fine...*points at RM* - they actually need just one bomber + fighter

@Dreygon
Yes that would be the solution... high lvl. pirate NPC patrols close to pirate bases. Normal NPCs flying everywhere could still be low level. Look at the Liberty navy NPCs.

EDIT:
@blackdragon....
Quote:we didn't know they were in LFs..
Are you serious? You mean we were 4 GBs when all under lvl 50? And yes you HAD to use the chat screen to see we are there.
Quote:...piret blatently in one of the most well deffended systems in the whole game...
:lol: let me check..where did I pirate over a dozen of traders making more than 10mil... ehm... in NY with lawful liberty forces online
EDIT2:
@blackdragon... it actually was fun to "loose" I lost some 15 nanobots in the whole fight... most to crashing and some to sniper... now that's about 5k in credits. Poor bomber lost some 35bots and got two nuke hits.
What I was trying to prove flying around was that the "biggest stick" is not always the best. A fighter can dodge caps without fighter escorts indefinitely. Blocking them from protecting traders other places... and guess what.. when you leave the fight it is you that actually loose.
