is Colonial at war with Bretonia?

As much I remember some time ago CR used to fight with oc and bretornia fights each other.
They were allied to corsair.
Then gallia comes in.
CR fights gallia.
They lost. Driven out of 44.
They moved to a distant independent system.
They broke allience with sairs(for unknown reason).
Now i heard they are with SCRA.
The position of current CR and thier allies i.e. SCRA are not anyhow near.
Logically they are supposed to fight gallia with gerilla warfare "The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend". So they should fight the gallia with the brets like the exilesi.e. the CR and some of Councils and kusari exiles. Insted they moved to SCRA. And whom they will attack now?
Brets for now and Sairs later. Nice story. Very nice.
Though i dont understand how it comes.
