Maximus spent weeks on deep space exploration and scanning the nomad systems. When he came back and reported back to rest of the Phoenix members he realised that currently what matters is to settle down and seek new home for those who are left. As one of the leaders in Phoenix high command he helped in contruction of their first settlement and temporary hideout - the Siberia Hideout - with a lot of effort and time few ships managed to build a well suplied base that is capable of suppling the core fleet.

Maximus also decided to find and rebuild his Lost Pioneer ship...in order to provide security as well as mobile base for those who are now members of the Phoenix.
The work is still in progress and goals are being discussed but the Phoenix seems very similar to what Maximus wanted to achive while he was leading the Pioneer Corporation. The memories of lost fleet , brothers and sisters ... friends ... makes him more determined and cautious in planning the moves of the faction but with combined work of all the leadership and members he believes that this time his new family will survive and develop - at the end he might prove himself a leader and hero for people who trust him...and he will fulfill his destiny by doing that.
